Welcome to the Ballenger House!

This historic South Carolina American Foursquare-style residence serves as a venue for weddings, showers and other catered events, as a meeting spot for a variety of local clubs, and as a heritage tourism destination. A community landmark, the Ballenger House is a beautiful red brick home built by Mr. and Mrs. Grady Woodfin Ballenger.

The Ballenger House, circa 1925, is surrounded by sumptuous gardens, gracious oaks and lovely dogwoods. Located within Historic Downtown Seneca, the home is close to fine dining, excellent shopping, and other historic attractions.

To step into the Ballenger House is to step into a different time and place, when Southern hospitality reigned supreme and life moved at a softer pace. Come and experience the ambiance of the Historic Ballenger House, where the art of living graciously is still remembered.
